A trip to Wa 26th-27th of March

I was in Wa, the Upper West Regional capital on a visit to PEPS-C (Producer Enterprises Promotion Service Center) After my mission had completed, I decided to take a stroll through the Wa township.
My first point of call was an Internet café. Guess where? Maana Linx Internet Café! Members of the network will remember that the closure of Maana Linx by the VAT services was extensively discussed on this network.
The news therefore is that Maana Linx has started operation again to the delight of not only the University for Development Studies students alone but also to the whole Wa township.
But there is even bigger and better news. The monopoly of Maana linx has also been broken. A new internet café, ‘THE TREND CAFÉ’, has just opened.
What I find baffling is that while Maana Linx charges 10,000 cedis per hour, the Trend Computers, operators of the Trend Internet café charges 7000 cedis per hour and yet they have a faster link.
Cheers!
